So a lot of people ask me what exactly I do at the lab where I work. Here is an excellent example of one of the highlights of working for GICL. From Sept. 12th to 16th, we visited Las Vegas. We saw all the sights, took a lot of pictures (on a high-tech digital camera, of course - nothing less for a bunch of computer geeks like ourselves), and we ate all the food. Las Vegas is like the city of buffets. Of course I am still more than a year away from legal gambling age, but watching everyone else lose their money was enough of an insight into the way the great city of Lost Wages works. Too bad none of us struck it big - we could use some 21" flat screen LCD monitors in the lab to go with our hot SGI's...</P>
