Good lord.
Can you believe that it's been nearly two years and we're still getting email about this site? I actually gave up updating it for some time, but I discovered practically every message I ever recieved about this hidden someplace on my hard drive. So here you are. I'm still missing some of the most recent messages, but I'll try to be better about keeping this up to date.
Really I will.
Well, I suppose some history is in order at this point. In mid 1997 I took over webmastering for slac.com, a small experimental web server. Slac's mission was to provide internet services for a small group of friends, and had been doing so for several years.
Then, in January 1998, I got this email message:

Well, finally I learned that one of our users -- named "Jerry" -- had registered his own name and pointed it to slac.com. Which was fine by us. But now, people were confusing us with all sorts of Jerrys... and it was the Springer fans who tended to write me. So here they are... "adult" language and all.
Incidentally, lots of these say "no one wants to visit your page." I've had lots of compliments on this... some of them as funny as the ones you see here. You can check those out on the kudos page.
